AFRICA LIONS & MORE – THE ULTIMATE “BIG CATS” PHOTO SAFARI.
This small group, exclusive photo safari has been created for photographers who have a passion to to capture stunning images of “Big Cats” in thier natural environments. The main focus is on leopards, lions, and cheetahs.
We have selected the very best locations to photograph Africa’s superior predators – the “Big Cats”:
- Sabi Sands in South Africa for Leopards and “Big Five” [Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhino]
- Mashatu in Botswana for Leopards, Lions, Cheetahs & Wild Dogs
- Mala Mala in South Africa for Leopards and “Big Five”
There will be a big variety of other African wildlife to photograph too, and especially the Big Five.

Our aim is to ensure you come home with the best possible images and unforgetable memories of a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience photographing these magnificent animals.
Leopard are the most elusive and arguably the most beautiful of the African predators! They seem to choose who photographs them! Our experienced drivers/guides will track them in Sabi Sands and you will be astounded when you experience how close we can get to photograph these supreme predators.
With not more than four photographers/persons allowed per vehicle you will appreciate the extra space whilst photographing from specially adapted vehicles . This arrangement caters especially well for photographers using larger telephoto lenses and yet allows enough space for spouses/partners who just wish to sit, in peace and enjoy the special spirit of Africa.

The ratio of pro photogrpahers to participants is the highest you will find on any photographic safari anywhere.
DATES & SUMMARY ITINERARY
The photo safari commences on 13th September 2012 and finishes on 27th September 2012, starting and ending in Johannesburg, South Africa.
A summary of the itinerary is:
- 12 Sept or earlier: Depart from home city
- 13 Sept: Arrive J’burg and stay overnight in Guest House, Pretoria
- 14 – 18 Sept: Mala Mala Main Camp - 4 nights
- 19 – 22 Sept: Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp – 4 nights
- 22 – 27 Sept: Mashatu tent Camp - 5 nights
- 27Sept: Transport to J’burg Airport for connection with international flights
COSTS
The cost is: AUD$14,550.00.00 per person, twin share.
A single supplement of AUD$2450.00 applies, if specifically requested.
Terms of Payment are as follows:
1. A non-refundable 25% deposit together with a completed Registration Form, on or before 15th February 2012.
2. A second non-refundable payment of 25% on or before 30th April 2012.
3. A final payment of the remaining 50%, on or before 30th June 2012.
